Titles that NEED to come to Nintendo Switch

Welcome Back!

Christmas 2017 was a fruitful one. Netting me a notorious Nintendo Switch. Alongside two Metacritic praised titles. Breath of the Wild, and Mario Odyssey.

More than 150 hours into these games combined, I feel it's safe to say that I love this console. Going so far as to re purchase older indie titles because they feel perfect on the Switch. Most recently, Darkest Dungeon. After contracting the Crimson Curse more times than I like to admit, I finally gave Shovel Knight a try.
I began thinking, what other games would it make sense to find their way to this fantastic console?

[Heads up, you wont be seeing any fighting games in the list. Simply due to the fact that in order to make them great on Switch you need to have a pro controller. ]

1. Any TCG/CCG

I realize the likes of Hearthstone and Elder Scrolls: Legends have not made their grand debut one any console yet, and have stuck to mobile devices outside of PC. However, switch is basically a mobile system itself. Take off the Joycons and it is literally a tablet. Even if you just made all the controls touch screen, I just wanna have my Switch in hand as much as possible.
At the very least, we should get Gwent. Perhaps once it comes out of Beta and gets a full release it can be thrown on Switch. Gwent with Touch controls sounds fantastic.
Maybe even Magic: Arena. Any TCG/CCG seems like it would be a no brainer for the Nintendo console, it's just a matter of time.

2. Pyre

If you own a Nintendo Switch, then I feel it's safe to assume you have at least one indie title downloaded on that beast.
So this is a personal bias, but I just want my absolute favourite indie title in my hands, and on the go. Pyre is absolutely fantastic. A game that is extremely difficult to sell the idea of to a friend who has never played a game from Supergiant Games.
A deep story about scheming, building friendships, making hard game changing decisions, and most importantly 3v3 Fantasy Basketball. In my opinion, one of the most underrated games of 2017.

3. Diablo 3

Yes, anyone reading this site in the past knows that I am a huge fan of Diablo 3, so it should come as no surprise that I would want to play this game portably. Honestly while playing the Switch I kept thinking about how perfect the Ultimate Evil Edition would make a great port onto the Switch. graphically the game is not a tyrant, and it would control virtually the exact same. Plus the idea of some Nintendo exclusive content in the same vein that Playstation has SotC armour, TLoU Rift and an Uncharted necklace. Switch edition could get a Master Sword, Hylian Shield, or even as simple as a Navi or Cappy minion to follow you around.
The gameplay itself feels perfect to be on Switch. You only have 10-15 minutes to spare before work, or on break at work? turn it on and play a Rift to pass the time.
The more you think about it, the more you will want it.

4.  The Evil Within 2

If Bethesda has proven anything in 2017, it's that they are all in on the Switch. With ports of Skyrim, DOOM and soon to be Wolfenstein 2 making their way to the console, I don't think it would be too out of the question to see The Evil Within 2 make its way by the end of 2018.
Anyone who has played any of the switch titles that showcase motion control aiming knows that it finally feels good. Breath of the Wild, Skyrim, and RE: Revelations 1&2. We have proof that it works. Graphically, TEW2 is less than DOOM, and that already plays great on Switch. I for one, am hungry for a horror game on my favourite handheld/hybrid.

5. Final Fantasy - Any of them

It almost feels strange to not have a Final Fantasy game at least in talks for a Nintendo console. Yes, it is still very early in the life cycle, however with how great it's selling I cant believe we haven't even been teased yet.
You could easily release any from 1 through 6. Spin offs such as Tactics or Crystal Chronicles. Hell, why not go ahead and release XV. Yes, graphically it is a very pretty game. However SquareEnix is dumbing that title down so people can play a chibi version of it on Mobile. Why not bring it to the Switch? Or even Dissidia NT. I said earlier that I wouldn't recommend fighting games, but you don't use the directional pad for NT.
I would personally want any from 1 to 6. But I would be just as happy knowing that Final Fantasy is being considered for Switch.
I guess right now we still have Octopath Traveler to look forward to (Which is quite impressive BTW).

UPDATE:

Pillars of Eternity

This was on my list before I posted initially. However, as of February 7th it seems that Pillars of Eternity 2: Deadfire will be coming to the Switch this holiday season! Hardcore old school D&D style RPG for the switch? Yes please. Anyone who had a change to play the original should see the appeal of bringing this franchise on the go. The battle system fits perfectly with the Switch in mind. Once a fight starts the world freezes and you can select how you want each of your part members to move around the area and how each character combats the opposing force. You can simply put the Switch into rest mode mid fight and pick it back up anywhere and not lose track of the fight at hand.
